Vaggelis Seretis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pantelis Batsidis made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alketas Kouris sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Alketas Kouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th play minute Giorgos Kapatais came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pantelis Batsidis. 2-0. Christos Sparos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, 3kala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Mitsikostas came free, but Vaggelis Seretis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pantelis Batsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alketas Kouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Stamatis Santorineos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Seretis having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stamatis Santorineos was the one to do the kick off. Giorgos Kapatais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Seretis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamatis Santorineos in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Sparos during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthimos Evaggellakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vaggelis Seretis. 3kala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, KFC red roosters's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kapatais came free, but Pantelis Batsidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KFC red roosters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Santorineos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgos Kapatais kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Stamatis Santorineos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vaggelis Mitsikostas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the KFC red roosters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Mitsikostas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, 3kala FC's Stelios Saraliotis got a free kick in the 94th minute. Isidoros Pavlidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vaggelis Seretis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3kala FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
