Zinon Kazakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Skapaneas in the 14th minute of the match. Antonis Velakos's late challenge caught a Mylopotamos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonis Velakos helped the player get up and apologised. Stelios Skapaneas scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zinon Kazakopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Mylopotamos FC defense, Stelios Skapaneas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zinon Kazakopoulos. The Mylopotamos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zinon Kazakopoulos should have stopped the shot. Stelios Skapaneas charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelios Skapaneas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stelios Skapaneas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in City fc's zone, Miltiadis Serpanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Topalidis came out of the goal and Miltiadis Serpanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Markos Fotiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stergios Topalidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markos Fotiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind City fc's goalkeeper Stergios Topalidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelios Skapaneas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, City fc's Paris Zorbadelis got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Miltiadis Serpanos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Mylopotamos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Papadimitriou to maneuver through the defense. Prokopis Traganitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of City fc booed when Mylopotamos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Stefanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
