Iraklis Dabizas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Zisis Varveris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalogoniα's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zisis Varveris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, INTER's Stratos Papadopoulos got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Kyriakos Savvakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and INTER's Errikos Natsis didn't even have to move. Thanos Leventakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kalogoniα's Thanos Leventakis in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 28th minute, Thanos Leventakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kalogoniα's Prokopis Eleftheriou pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Tsirkos. If Zisis Varveris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

It was a well-played corner which Kostas Klapanaras managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 65 minutes into the game, INTER's Panagiotis Zebetoglou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iason Kavourdoukos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Zebetoglou in the 71st minute of play forced Kalogoniα's goalkeeper Iason Kavourdoukos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kalogoniα getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Thanos Leventakis hit a great ball. Simos Nikakis struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Errikos Natsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalogoniα. Errikos Natsis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Zisis Varveris sent off a good shot on target. Zisis Varveris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zisis Varveris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Errikos Natsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Kalogoniα failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
