The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alkinoos Tsitsinakis hit a great ball. When Alketas Kouris came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the 3kala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alketas Kouris couldn't finish the play. ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ's Thomas Papafanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alketas Kouris in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stathis Bantas hit a great ball. Thomas Papafanakis made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alketas Kouris sent off a good shot on target. Fanis Michos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Seretis having to interfere. Giorgos Kapatais struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Thomas Papafanakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 3kala FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Kapatais got free with Thomas Papafanakis in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fanis Michos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaggelis Seretis. Vaggelis Seretis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vaggelis Seretis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Charidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Koulis Charidis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koulis Charidis couldn't finish the play. Fanis Michos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vaggelis Seretis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Michos in the 45th minute of play forced 3kala FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Seretis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Giorgos Kapatais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes 3kala FC got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Kouris. 58 minutes into the match, 3kala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Michos came free, but Vaggelis Seretis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Kouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Papafanakis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ's zone, Christos Sparos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Papafanakis came out of the goal and Christos Sparos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ's Vaggelis Seretis threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fanis Michos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Koulis Charidis scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaggelis Seretis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave 3kala FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iason Vallas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ's Thomas Papafanakis. 2-3. If Alketas Kouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Kapatais succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. When Giorgos Kapatais came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the 3kala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Kapatais couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 3kala FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
