They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With his leg Vladimiros Pantelatos managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Dhrιmisa's Eugenios Barbounis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A long shot from Spyros Vourtzoumis in the 54th minute of play was well struck, but Vladimiros Pantelatos made a really good save at the right post. Vladimiros Pantelatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Siafakas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Tasos Milonopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Spazokefalos having to interfere. Panagiotis Spazokefalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Kareklopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eugenios Barbounis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhrιmisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenios Barbounis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiros Pantelatos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dhrιmisa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
