But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loukianos Lelopoulos couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babbis Pountos made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Siatzis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Bonoris saved Panathinaikos from getting behind. Spyros Xilouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Pountos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dimitris Koutsokefalakis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to λαδαδικα θεσσαλονικη getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Evaggelos Piomenos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Loukianos Lelopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panathinaikos's supporters rose to their feet, but Loukianos Lelopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spyros Xilouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spyros Xilouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Babbis Pountos went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sokratis Paspalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Spyros Xilouris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the λαδαδικα θεσσαλονικη players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panathinaikos.
