Vaggelis Kaliris came out of the goal and Telis Siokos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Charis Vourlis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lianoverion's supporters rose to their feet, but Charis Vourlis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Kaliris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes HANNIBAL got a freekick which was hit by Sotos Sarapanis. If Charis Vourlis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lianoverion! Konstantinos Xomeritakis went to the wrong direction when Akakios Myroforidis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Giannis Papoutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in HANNIBAL's zone, Zacharias Kerveros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Kaliris came out of the goal and Zacharias Kerveros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Vourlis in the 36th minute of play forced HANNIBAL's goalkeeper Vaggelis Kaliris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacharias Kerveros charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacharias Kerveros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Lianoverion got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Kerveros. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charis Vourlis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, HANNIBAL's Sotos Sarapanis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Charis Vourlis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lianoverion's Charis Vourlis in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HANNIBAL's goalie prevented a goal. Charis Vourlis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Kaliris having to interfere. Zacharias Kerveros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Vaggelis Kaliris made a huge save. After 69 played minutes HANNIBAL got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Tzolis. Lianoverion's Stavros Kabourakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HANNIBAL. 72 minutes into the match, HANNIBAL's goalkeeper Vaggelis Kaliris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacharias Kerveros. Giannis Papoutsas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Giannis Papoutsas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the HANNIBAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Papoutsas couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacharias Kerveros got free with Vaggelis Kaliris in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lianoverion were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
