The referee ignored F.C. Sparda's protests and gave Giannis Kotopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, F.C. Sparda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Kotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Tzanetakos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Giannis Kotopoulos got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 11th match minute, F.C. Sparda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Sparda. Alexis Anastasakis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, F.C. Sparda's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Margaritis came free, but Lakis Mistriotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΕΛΛΑΣ's Eugenios Margaritis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eugenios Margaritis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandros Koutroutsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lakis Mistriotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Koutroutsos in the 91st minute of play. F.C. Sparda's Iakovos Kasdovassilis got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Iakovos Kasdovassilis off the ground. Iakovos Kasdovassilis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Koutroutsos in the 95th minute of play forced F.C. Sparda's goalkeeper Lakis Mistriotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexandros Koutroutsos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ΕΛΛΑΣ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
