If Kyriakos Kakalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, HANNIBAL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stamatis Poulakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Kyriakos Kakalis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Vaggelis Kaliris to make any attempt to save it. If Kyriakos Kakalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamatis Poulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vaggelis Kaliris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustratios Koufaliotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Polichronos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Periklis Kavoukas during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Periklis Kavoukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Papoutsas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustratios Koufaliotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Varies FC's Eustratios Koufaliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Polichronos in the 39th minute of play. Varies FC's Kyriakos Kakalis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Kakalis in the 59th minute of play forced HANNIBAL's goalkeeper Vaggelis Kaliris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, HANNIBAL's Eustratios Koufaliotis threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vassilis Polichronos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 83rd play minutes Stamatis Poulakis shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Vaggelis Kaliris and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kyriakos Kakalis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyriakos Kakalis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Kaliris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Kakalis in the 95th minute of play forced HANNIBAL's goalkeeper Vaggelis Kaliris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgos Karatassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Kaliris having to interfere.
