Varies FC's Eustratios Koufaliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Grigorakoglou in the 20th minute of play. Kyriakos Kakalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Kakalis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Konstantinos Xomeritakis, 2-1. Konstantinos Xomeritakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyriakos Kakalis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Konstantinos Grigorakoglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When Giorgos Karatassos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varies FC's protests and gave Giorgos Karatassos a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Lianoverion got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Papagiannakos.

If Sofoklis Paraskevopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Kyriakos Kakalis put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Xomeritakis. Eustratios Koufaliotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Karatassos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Kyriakos Kakalis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantinos Xomeritakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. With a little luck, Varies FC's Eustratios Koufaliotis got control of the ball when Nektarios Matalas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 played minutes Lianoverion got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Papagiannakos. Varies FC's Tolis Kostikos was substituted for Charilaos Moustopoulos. Thanasis Papagiannakos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Kyriakos Kakalis put it in 6-3 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Xomeritakis.
