Lakis Schistos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lakis Mistriotis made a huge save. 8 minutes into the game, Lakis Schistos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lakis Mistriotis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofoklis Kanellopoulos in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lakis Mistriotis saved F.C. Sparda from getting behind. In the 13th match minute, F.C. Sparda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Anastasakis to maneuver through the defense. Lakis Schistos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lakis Mistriotis having to make a save. The supporters of CASTELAN booed when F.C. Sparda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Kotopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michalis Aggelatos charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michalis Aggelatos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, one of F.C. Sparda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Sparda. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for CASTELAN. Zacharias Michalolias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lakis Mistriotis. 2-0. A collision led to CASTELAN getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ntinos Symeonas hit a great ball. Argyris Ladas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paschalis Kalinichtas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sparda's Giannis Kotopoulos got a free kick in the 30th minute. Zacharias Michalolias, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 33 played minutes CASTELAN's Lakis Schistos stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Lakis Mistriotis stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing F.C. Sparda's Lakis Mistriotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Kanellopoulos in the 41st minute of play. Lakis Mistriotis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lakis Schistos in the 43rd minute. Lakis Mistriotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofoklis Kanellopoulos in the 45th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sofoklis Kanellopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CASTELAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Schistos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lakis Mistriotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Schistos in the 54th minute of the match. F.C. Sparda's Viktoras Kalogeros got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktoras Kalogeros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argyris Ladas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paschalis Kalinichtas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sparda's supporters rose to their feet, but Paschalis Kalinichtas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sparda. Viktoras Kalogeros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Ladas having to interfere. Lakis Mistriotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofoklis Kanellopoulos in the 89th minute of play. F.C. Sparda's Lakis Mistriotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Kanellopoulos in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Paschalis Kalinichtas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Ladas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CASTELAN fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C. Sparda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
