Sakis Tsoris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolas Bosoulas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Giannis Voliotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolas Bosoulas made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Giannis Voliotis sent off a good shot on target. Nikolas Bosoulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakis Tsoris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Voliotis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Sakis Tsoris elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nikolas Bosoulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Tsoris, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Lefkαda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Giannikos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demis Koboropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Sakis Tsoris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Bosoulas having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakis Tsoris to make the kick off. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Lefkαda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Pagouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Lefkαda got a freekick which was hit by Demis Koboropoulos. In the 74th minute, one of Monσdendron:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monσdendron. The referee gave Lefkαda a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apostolis Kommatias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monσdendron's Adolfo Medina. 3-1. Sakis Tsoris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nikolas Bosoulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sakis Tsoris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monσdendron fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lefkαda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
