The referee ignored New old boys's protests and gave Avraam Karameros a yellow card for diving instead. Avraam Karameros hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Andreas Chronakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Tsalouchidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Vaxevanakis having to interfere. Alkaios Vakros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vassilis Terzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. New old boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Terzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolas Bosoulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Chronakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Chronakos in the 42nd minute of play forced New old boys's goalkeeper Thodoris Vaxevanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vassilis Terzis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolas Bosoulas was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Babbis Konstantopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alkaios Vakros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolas Bosoulas was a little too slow when Alkaios Vakros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, New old boys's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Chronakos came free, but Thodoris Vaxevanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Terzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
