Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) jimacos's Giannis Nentidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, jimacos's goal looked a bit too open when Alkaios Vakros came free, but Notis Katsafanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Vassilis Terzis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Notis Katsafanas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thodoris Vaxevanakis was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Thanasis Chronatos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thanasis Chronatos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Alkaios Vakros notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of jimacos's Notis Katsafanas. Notis Katsafanas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vassilis Terzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Notis Katsafanas having to interfere. Alkaios Vakros struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Notis Katsafanas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New old boys. 26 minutes into the match, Nikos Kostaras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Notis Katsafanas. jimacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Kostaras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 33rd match minute, jimacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanasis Chronatos to maneuver through the defense. Thrasivoulos Skarbatonis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Thodoris Vaxevanakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jimacos. Giannis Nentidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Nentidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thodoris Vaxevanakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute jimacos were awarded a corner. Paschalis Verginas went to the cornerflag to take it. jimacos's Paschalis Verginas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thodoris Vaxevanakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 47 minutes of play, New old boys's Alkaios Vakros made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Notis Katsafanas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alkaios Vakros made a kick off. Iason Bertsis made a great header on New old boys's corner, it was just that jimacos's Notis Katsafanas managed to reach the ball for a save. After 56 played minutes jimacos got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Chronatos. After having played for 62 minutes, Themistoklis Spilias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. jimacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themistoklis Spilias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Vassilis Terzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. New old boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Terzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Notis Katsafanas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, jimacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Skarbatonis to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Giannis Nentidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavlos Asimakoglou shot from long distance in the 74th minute, but Notis Katsafanas was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. jimacos's Notis Katsafanas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save jimacos from getting a goal against them. Notis Katsafanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkaios Vakros in the 83rd minute of play. Thanasis Chronatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Vaxevanakis having to interfere. Although jimacos had been in control for most of the match, New old boys still came away with the win.
