In the 4th minute, Giannis Voliotis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Charalambakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Giannis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Voliotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakis Tsoris in the 8th minute of play forced Wiz SP's goalkeeper Giannis Charalambakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monσdendron's Adolfo Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Monσdendron from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Periklis Ballas in the 25th minute of play. Konstantinos Kaberis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiz SP's goalkeeper Giannis Charalambakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wiz SP's Giannis Charalambakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Tsoris in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sakis Tsoris in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Charalambakis saved Wiz SP from getting behind. When Giannis Lazarakis came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Monσdendron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Lazarakis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Wiz SP's Periklis Ballas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Pantelis Nastos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wiz SP's Giannis Charalambakis didn't even have to move. After 47 played minutes Wiz SP got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Salemenopoulos. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakis Tsoris made a kick off. A collision led to Monσdendron getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Panos Kalabosis hit a great ball. After 53 minutes, Periklis Ballas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wiz SP and the Monσdendron players grew even worse after the yellow card. Periklis Ballas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sakis Tsoris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Wiz SP got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Salemenopoulos. Giannis Charalambakis was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Sakis Tsoris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sakis Tsoris really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A collision led to Wiz SP getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Stergios Salemenopoulos hit a great ball. If Sakis Tsoris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wiz SP's zone, Sakis Tsoris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Charalambakis came out of the goal and Sakis Tsoris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Wiz SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Savakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Voliotis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Giannis Charalambakis made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Panos Kalabosis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monσdendron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Monσdendron's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
