Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 5) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Thrasivoulos Koulouris managed to get in a good position for a shot. President's supporters rose to their feet, but Thrasivoulos Koulouris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alketas Bountouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the game, Ignatios Kazatzidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. President's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Larisa FC the free kick. After 7 played minutes Larisa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos. After a defensive mix-up in Larisa FC's zone, Thrasivoulos Koulouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bountouris came out of the goal and Thrasivoulos Koulouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, Larisa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Katsaros to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasios Velakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thrasivoulos Koulouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alketas Bountouris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Larisa FC's Lakis Katsaros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasios Velakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, President's goal looked a bit too open when Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos came free, but Anastasios Velakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thrasivoulos Koulouris came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alketas Bountouris could save by the left post. Veniamin Papapostolou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Larisa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Kazatzidis came free, but Alketas Bountouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thrasivoulos Koulouris might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alketas Bountouris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thrasivoulos Koulouris ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Larisa FC's zone, Ignatios Kazatzidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bountouris came out of the goal and Ignatios Kazatzidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Iosif Sfaliaridis with Veniamin Papapostolou as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Anastasios Velakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthimos Kamelatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The President players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Larisa FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thrasivoulos Koulouris was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Renos Pergaminos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thrasivoulos Koulouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasios Velakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Larisa FC's zone, Thrasivoulos Koulouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bountouris came out of the goal and Thrasivoulos Koulouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, President's goalkeeper Anastasios Velakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veniamin Papapostolou. President's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Anastasios Velakos, making the score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Larisa FC's Veniamin Papapostolou got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Anastasios Velakos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimosthenis Sofianopoulos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. The Larisa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Larisa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
