With an all-out effort, PAOK FC 1926's Anastasios Velakos threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Apostolis Keratakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 4 minutes into the game, Avraam Bonovas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasios Velakos. Avraam Bonovas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to PAOK FC 1926 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ermis Chatzis hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Thrasivoulos Koulouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Kavouratos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, PAOK FC 1926's Avraam Bonovas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasios Velakos. Anastasios Velakos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 18th minute Evripidis Nikolakakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Velakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Thrasivoulos Koulouris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. President's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thrasivoulos Koulouris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasios Velakos was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Apostolis Keratakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apostolis Keratakis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Anastasios Velakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolis Keratakis in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, President's goalkeeper Anastasios Velakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adamantios Kareklopoulos. Spyros Kavouratos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Koulouris in the 32nd minute of play. Anastasios Balafoutis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spyros Kavouratos having to interfere. Thrasivoulos Koulouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. President's Anastasios Velakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save President from getting a goal against them. Thrasivoulos Koulouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Spyros Kavouratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thrasivoulos Koulouris made a kick off. Anastasios Velakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Kareklopoulos in the 52nd minute of the match. After 58 played minutes PAOK FC 1926 got a freekick which was hit by Avraam Bonovas. Anastasios Balafoutis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Spyros Kavouratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolis Keratakis in the 67th minute of play forced President's goalkeeper Anastasios Velakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasios Balafoutis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Spyros Kavouratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK FC 1926's goalkeeper Spyros Kavouratos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The PAOK FC 1926 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
