The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Palavos got free with Omiros Palavakis in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleftherios Kaklamanakos hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Argyris Karpenisis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Makis Kechagias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Karpenisis couldn't finish the play. stavrouliakos's Makis Kechagias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Karpenisis in the 37th minute of play. Omiros Palavakis made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Giannis Palavos sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Giannis Palavos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omiros Palavakis, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kyriakos Petrakos made the kick off in the second half. Kyriakos Petrakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee ignored Kakaria BC's protests and gave Eleftherios Kaklamanakos a yellow card for diving instead. Eleftherios Kaklamanakos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Kyriakos Petrakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Giannis Palavos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. stavrouliakos had won after a very even match.
