In the 9th minute, Alketas Pirtsos made a precise shot to the right of Kleanthis Chionidis. A.O. Aigaleo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Dimitris Skandalis fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.O. Aigaleo's protests and gave Dimitris Skandalis a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes A.O. Aigaleo got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Skandalis. Valerios Diamantidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Alketas Pirtsos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kleanthis Chionidis. Kleanthis Chionidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ booed when A.O. Aigaleo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambros Katsourinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleanthis Chionidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Pirtsos in the 30th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.O. Aigaleo!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valerios Diamantidis made a kick off. Iason Kotitsas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. A.O. Aigaleo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 75 minutes into the game, Alketas Pirtsos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kleanthis Chionidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute Valerios Kouveliotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Chionidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Panos Logothetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iason Kotitsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kleanthis Chionidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Diamantidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerios Diamantidis in the 97th minute of play forced A.O. Aigaleo's goalkeeper Kleanthis Chionidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
