An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Petrakos in the 7th minute of play forced A.O. Aigaleo's goalkeeper Kleanthis Chionidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iason Kotitsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Makis Kechagias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.O. Aigaleo's Kleanthis Chionidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Petrakos in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kyriakos Petrakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kleanthis Chionidis was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 19th match minute, A.O. Aigaleo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkis Tsiartas to maneuver through the defense. Iason Kotitsas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Kleanthis Chionidis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stratos Bourekas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stratos Bourekas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to A.O. Aigaleo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stratos Bourekas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iason Kotitsas in the 38th minute of play forced stavrouliakos's goalkeeper Makis Kechagias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.O. Aigaleo's Theofanis Koutroutsos got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alkis Tsiartas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of stavrouliakos booed when A.O. Aigaleo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkis Tsiartas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Chatziantoniou Bournouxouzis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kleanthis Chionidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyriakos Petrakos to strike the kick off in the second half. Giannis Palavos struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Kleanthis Chionidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for stavrouliakos. Stratos Bourekas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Kyriakos Petrakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Chionidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kleanthis Chionidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Petrakos in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in stavrouliakos's zone, Iason Kotitsas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makis Kechagias came out of the goal and Iason Kotitsas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Iason Kotitsas in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 75 minutes into the match, A.O. Aigaleo's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Petrakos came free, but Kleanthis Chionidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iason Kotitsas might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Makis Kechagias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iason Kotitsas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, A.O. Aigaleo's Stratos Bourekas got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Kleon Negris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The stavrouliakos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 91 played minutes A.O. Aigaleo got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Kopsokefalos. Chatziantoniou Bournouxouzis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kleanthis Chionidis. A.O. Aigaleo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Konstantinos Kapelas managed to get in a good position for a shot. stavrouliakos's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Kapelas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleanthis Chionidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to A.O. Aigaleo getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Veniamin Dabizas hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.O. Aigaleo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for stavrouliakos.
