Anthimos Kamelatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. The supporters of Larisa FC booed when Aλtorrαchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Alexoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stratos Mavrakoglou in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alketas Bountouris saved Larisa FC from getting behind. Michalis Metaxas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Kamelatos in the 32nd minute of play. When Larisa FC's Anthimos Kamelatos in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Michalis Metaxas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Katsaros in the 45th minute of the match. Lakis Katsaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Larisa FC booed when Aλtorrαchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Karagoutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthimos Kamelatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Michalis Metaxas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aλtorrαchi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Anthimos Kamelatos scored to the left of an out of position Michalis Metaxas, making the score, 1-1. Alketas Bountouris came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aλtorrαchi's Stratos Mavrakoglou. But to his dismay, Stratos Mavrakoglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Fanis Tsigos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aλtorrαchi's protests and gave Fanis Tsigos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aλtorrαchi's Fanis Tsigos got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Diogenis Skopelitis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michalis Metaxas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Anthimos Kamelatos in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Michalis Metaxas kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Lakis Katsaros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Aλtorrαchi's Michalis Metaxas got control of the ball when Lakis Katsaros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthimos Kamelatos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michalis Metaxas having to make a save. Larisa FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
