Iordanis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Papadamos in the 3rd minute of play. Stratos Papadamos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Fanis Petriniotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Rovolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alkinoos Karras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Prinianakis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stratos Papadamos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordanis Prinianakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to YPERHRVAS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kosmas Nikitas hit a great ball. Petros Margaritis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Giorgos Rovolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes YPERHRVAS got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Zikos. When Dimitris Zikos fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YPERHRVAS's protests and gave Dimitris Zikos a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in YPERHRVAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, AEK SFC's Adamantios Kakouros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Giorgos Rovolis. 44 minutes into the match, YPERHRVAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Petriniotis came free, but Giorgos Rovolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkinoos Karras took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordanis Prinianakis. Iordanis Prinianakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fanis Petriniotis was the one to do the kick off. Fanis Petriniotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Rovolis having to interfere. With his leg Iordanis Prinianakis managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when YPERHRVAS's Alkinoos Karras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giorgos Rovolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Margaritis in the 66th minute of play. AEK SFC's Iordanis Prinianakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save AEK SFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Papadamos in the 72nd minute of play forced AEK SFC's goalkeeper Iordanis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Themistoklis Moutsios's late challenge caught a YPERHRVAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Themistoklis Moutsios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, AEK SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themistoklis Moutsios to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Alkinoos Karras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YPERHRVAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Stratos Papadamos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. YPERHRVAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
