Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mits F.C.I's Babbis Sabanis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ardosis getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Notis Baltas hit a great ball. When Andreas Savvas fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mits F.C.I's protests and gave Andreas Savvas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Mits F.C.I was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Savvas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stavros Stavrou in the 16th minute of play forced Ardosis's goalkeeper Dimitris Nekos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ardosis's zone, Babbis Sabanis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Nekos came out of the goal and Babbis Sabanis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ntinos Vernikos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apostolis Mouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermis Bebis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ardosis's Isidoros Intzidis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ntinos Vernikos struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ermis Bebis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ardosis. Ntinos Vernikos in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermis Bebis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Ntinos Vernikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Apostolis Mouras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermis Bebis was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apostolis Mouras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 72 minutes into the match, Telis Leonidis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mits F.C.I's Ermis Bebis. Ermis Bebis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Mits F.C.I's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Mouras came free, but Ermis Bebis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolis Mouras in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermis Bebis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stavros Stavrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dimitris Nekos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Isidoros Intzidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoros Intzidis got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes, Mits F.C.I's Vrasidas Androulakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitris Nekos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mits F.C.I reached it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ardosis had played much better football throughout.
