Emmanouil Simeonidis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmanouil Simeonidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, partaliakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanouil Simeonidis to maneuver through the defense. Babbis Bozidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlassis Tzanetos having to interfere. Iraklis Chroniadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nikiforos Verikios made a huge save. When Valerios Thanailakis fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alkolikos FC's protests and gave Valerios Thanailakis a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alkolikos FC! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, partaliakos's Dionysis Koralis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nikiforos Verikios. Iraklis Chroniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nikiforos Verikios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alkolikos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Kosmas Kotsabasis scored to the left of an out of position Nikiforos Verikios, making the score, 2-0. After 39 played minutes Alkolikos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Kontoulis. Nikiforos Verikios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Kotsabasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Fanis Kontoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlassis Tzanetos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Babbis Bozidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikiforos Verikios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kosmas Kotsabasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Vlassis Tzanetos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Kontoulis in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Kosmas Kotsabasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikiforos Verikios. Alkolikos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kosmas Kotsabasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Fanis Kontoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akakios Matsinopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akakios Matsinopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alkolikos FC booed when partaliakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akakios Matsinopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Alkolikos FC's Fanis Kontoulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlassis Tzanetos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Kosmas Kotsabasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nikiforos Verikios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kosmas Kotsabasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikiforos Verikios was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Michalis Gabriilidis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Fanis Kontoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Babbis Bozidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vlassis Tzanetos came out and tried to block the shot, but Babbis Bozidis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 97th minute.
