But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavlos Portoulas couldn't finish the play. Muralαr BC's Emmanouil Papadamou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Valassidis in the 8th minute of play. Periklis Kazantziou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ynwa FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kosmas Koutsospyros hit a great ball. Ynwa FC's Christos Koulopodis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Periklis Kazantziou in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Ynwa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakovos Kafetzis to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Stavroulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Christos Koulopodis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Periklis Kazantziou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Koulopodis having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Periklis Kazantziou put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Christos Koulopodis. In the 37th minute Periklis Kazantziou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Koulopodis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kosmas Koutsospyros kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paris Valassidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlassis Prinianakis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ynwa FC's goalkeeper Christos Koulopodis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonis Stavroulakis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Periklis Kazantziou in the 61st minute of play forced Ynwa FC's goalkeeper Christos Koulopodis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlassis Prinianakis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ynwa FC's zone, Antonis Stavroulakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
