Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Tsilikas in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christos Koulopodis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Themos Ntountas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitris Christodoulopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kerasokhσrion's Daniil Dimitriadis got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes Ynwa FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoros Stamelos. Christos Koulopodis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Tsilikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Vaggelis Sagriotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ynwa FC and the Kerasokhσrion players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ynwa FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vaggelis Sagriotis hit a great ball. Pavlos Portoulas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonidas Labrakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavlos Portoulas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Paris Valassidis made a precise shot to the right of Leonidas Labrakis. Kerasokhσrion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paris Valassidis scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonidas Labrakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoros Stamelos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Themos Ntountas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Koulopodis having to interfere. Ynwa FC's Iakovos Kafetzis got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Themis Tsilikas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Koulopodis was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, Vlassis Prinianakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iosif Bouloukos was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ynwa FC's Fragiskos Markonis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kerasokhσrion. The Ynwa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
