Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vaggelis Meletidis made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Manogister C.t.W.'s zone, Dionysis Natsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignatios Zabetas came out of the goal and Dionysis Natsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AKITA's Nikos Kounelakis got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Stelios Antoniadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vaggelis Meletidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Dionysis Natsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Zabetas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Antoniadis in the 21st minute of play forced AKITA's goalkeeper Iakovos Pathiakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Argyris Kastoriadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manogister C.t.W.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKITA the free kick. Takis Kaligas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignatios Zabetas. Manogister C.t.W.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stelios Antoniadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Pathiakakis having to interfere. Isidoros Daskalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Iakovos Pathiakakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Tolis Panagiotakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Takis Kaligas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vaggelis Meletidis took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatios Zabetas. Ignatios Zabetas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelios Antoniadis made a kick off. In the 57th minute Isidoros Daskalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Pathiakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Antoniadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Iakovos Pathiakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Antoniadis in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, AKITA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanouil Bantrakos to maneuver through the defense. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Antoniadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 79th minute Vaggelis Meletidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Zabetas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Daskalakis in the 82nd minute of play forced AKITA's goalkeeper Iakovos Pathiakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Dionysis Natsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKITA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionysis Natsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manogister C.t.W.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
