Akis Seretis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Nekos having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Christodoulos Papoutsas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christodoulos Papoutsas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christodoulos Papoutsas might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Nekos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christodoulos Papoutsas ran back to his position shaking his head. Apostolis Mouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Apostolis Mouras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aris Natsikas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute Apostolis Mouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Natsikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ardosis's attack was well implemented in the 23rd minute, but when Ntinos Vernikos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Young Gunners's Akis Seretis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Notis Baltas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardosis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Gunners the free kick. The supporters of Young Gunners booed when Ardosis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Notis Baltas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akis Seretis in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Nekos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Telis Leonidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aris Natsikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Baltas in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Apostolis Mouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Natsikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aris Natsikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Mouras in the 41st minute of play. Akis Seretis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ardosis were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christos Strimmenos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ardosis's Isidoros Intzidis tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Apostolis Mouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ntinos Vernikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ardosis's Apostolis Mouras in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Young Gunners's goalie prevented a goal. After 76 minutes of play, Young Gunners's Akis Seretis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Nekos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ardosis's Ntinos Vernikos came free and shot a quick shot against goal 80 minutes in the game, fortunately Aris Natsikas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ntinos Vernikos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 81st playminute. Ntinos Vernikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aris Natsikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Thanos Roubesis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Young Gunners's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isidoros Intzidis was slow to take the kick. During this time Ardosis's players had a chance to rest. In the 89th match minute, Ardosis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Mouzis to maneuver through the defense. When Gerasimos Mouzis got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Ardosis. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ardosis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
