Kostas Varelas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kostas Varelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Antoniadis in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Stelios Antoniadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manogister C.t.W.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stelios Antoniadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Varelas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoros Daskalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kostas Varelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Daskalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Manogister C.t.W.'s Ignatios Zabetas got control of the ball when Panagiotis Kokkolakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Stelios Antoniadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Varelas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Stelios Antoniadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manogister C.t.W.'s Stelios Antoniadis got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignatios Zabetas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Kokkolakis in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Manogister C.t.W.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tilemachos Mousios fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 2-2 became the score in the 50th minute when Panagiotis Kokkolakis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelios Antoniadis to strike the kick off in the second half. Manogister C.t.W.'s Ignatios Zabetas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Psifidis in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Manogister C.t.W. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Trifon Boulis hit a great ball. Ignatios Zabetas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Kokkolakis in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Stratos Psifidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Stratos Psifidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Zabetas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelios Antoniadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Kokkolakis in the 77th minute of play forced Manogister C.t.W.'s goalkeeper Ignatios Zabetas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelios Antoniadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Varelas having to interfere. If Panagiotis Kokkolakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Kokkalas lost his temper 100 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 99th minute, one of Manogister C.t.W.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manogister C.t.W.. Π.Α.Ο.Κ Δωδεκανησιακό F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Manogister C.t.W. had controlled the match.
