When Giannis Sagionaridis came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Sevastianα fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Sagionaridis couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Stratos Kalabokis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrondádhos FC and the Sevastianα players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sevastianα booed when Vrondádhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Kalabokis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Vrondádhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Pavlatos. In the 15th minute, Tolis Staboulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantinos Kesaris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Stefanos Peropoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Konstantinos Kesaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Vrondádhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Maltezakis. In the 31st minute, Tolis Staboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrondádhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Konstantinos Kesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Peropoulos having to interfere. Tolis Staboulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefanos Peropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Varlamis in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Vrondádhos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Anestis Zisimopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolis Staboulis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Giorgos Pachatouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrondádhos FC. Giannis Karntasis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Giorgos Pachatouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Markogiannakis in the 62nd minute of the match. Giorgos Pachatouridis made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Anestis Zisimopoulos sent off a good shot on target. If Giannis Sagionaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Konstantinos Kesaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sevastianα's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantinos Kesaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Tolis Staboulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sevastianα's Giorgos Pachatouridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anestis Zisimopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgos Pachatouridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anestis Zisimopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Sevastianα's Nikitas Niniadis got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
