If Dimitris Kagiouzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Elikon Dragons:s goal. Dimitris Kagiouzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kostas Giotoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Georgakis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Takis Georgakis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Kagiouzis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valerios Kavouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Siradakis in the 51st minute of play. Zisis Tourkogiorgis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valerios Kavouridis having to make a save. Vaggelis Stamatellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Valerios Kavouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's zone, Vaggelis Stamatellis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valerios Kavouridis came out of the goal and Vaggelis Stamatellis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Veniamin Papadogiorgakis hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Konstantinos Georgakos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valerios Kavouridis skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Red Elikon Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kagiouzis came free, but Kostas Giotoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zisis Tourkogiorgis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaggelis Stamatellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valerios Kavouridis having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Vaggelis Stamatellis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valerios Kavouridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zisis Tourkogiorgis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Stamatellis came free, but Valerios Kavouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's Takis Sinodinos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Vaggelis Stamatellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vaggelis Stamatellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Red Elikon Dragons were the better team. Red Elikon Dragons's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
