With his leg Marinos Stabouloglou managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Lucio Henric fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Iason Kapsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Lucio Henric could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Marinos Stabouloglou however easily saved by the left post. Marinos Stabouloglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Koliakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Henric got free with Marinos Stabouloglou in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iason Kapsis charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iason Kapsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Xalkida's Iason Kapsis got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Andreas Kostarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Kostarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marinos Stabouloglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Stefanos Tsouknidas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xalkida's protests and gave Stefanos Tsouknidas a yellow card for diving instead. Stefanos Tsouknidas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Lucio Henric who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Marinos Stabouloglou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Marinos Stabouloglou managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Lucio Henric fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Xalkida's Marinos Stabouloglou got control of the ball when Lucio Henric tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marinos Stabouloglou came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Lucio Henric. But to his dismay, Lucio Henric quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marinos Stabouloglou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Henric in the 32nd minute. The long shot by Thomas Koliakis in the 39th minute really tested Marinos Stabouloglou's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Xalkida! Thomas Koliakis placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Lucio Henric came free and shot a quick shot against goal 42 minutes in the game, fortunately Marinos Stabouloglou had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Xalkida's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Kazanidis came free, but Marinos Stabouloglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marinos Stabouloglou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Kostarakis in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Henric to make the kick off. Lucio Henric struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marinos Stabouloglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTERNAZIONALE MILANO. Marinos Stabouloglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Koliakis in the 53rd minute of play. Lucio Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Stabouloglou having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Xalkida's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Henric came free, but Marinos Stabouloglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Wielowiejski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Xalkida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Kefaloulis to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Xalkida got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Apostolidis. In the 74thth minute of the game Lucio Henric who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xalkida's Marinos Stabouloglou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marinos Stabouloglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Kazanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Lucio Henric blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marinos Stabouloglou having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Henric in the 86th minute of play forced Xalkida's goalkeeper Marinos Stabouloglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Henric in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marinos Stabouloglou saved Xalkida from getting behind. In the 89thth minute of the game Lucio Henric who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xalkida's Marinos Stabouloglou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Koliakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Lucio Henric got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
