The supporters of Dhιlka booed when Red Elikon Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Stamatellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dhιlka's Demis Myroforidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Dhιlka from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Stamatellis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Demis Myroforidis made a huge save. Demis Myroforidis was a little too slow when Vaggelis Stamatellis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Kyriakos Tsinaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhιlka's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyriakos Tsinaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Giotoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Elikon Dragons's Vaggelis Stamatellis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demis Myroforidis. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Iraklis Baxevanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Anastasios Babasakos put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Dhιlka a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Savas Moustakas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iraklis Baxevanis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Dhιlka defense, Vaggelis Stamatellis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demis Myroforidis. The Dhιlka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demis Myroforidis should have stopped the shot. Red Elikon Dragons's Vaggelis Stamatellis got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimosthenis Dilberis during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimosthenis Dilberis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Vaggelis Stamatellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 79th minute Iraklis Baxevanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Giotoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthimos Siradakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takis Georgakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demis Myroforidis having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Vaggelis Stamatellis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Elikon Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Stamatellis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Takis Georgakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Elikon Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Takis Georgakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demis Myroforidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Red Elikon Dragons had played much better football throughout.
