Theodosis Garpozis hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Thanasis Souliopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renos Piperoglou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Achatariιs FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thanasis Souliopoulos 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Thanasis Souliopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Renos Piperoglou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th minute Trikala F.C. were awarded a corner. Alekos Koliopoulos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Trikala F.C.'s Alekos Koliopoulos to fire away a dangerous shot which Renos Piperoglou despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Giannis Vallas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Trikala F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Velos came free, but Konstantinos Kosmatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renos Piperoglou came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos. But to his dismay, Thanasis Souliopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanasis Souliopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Renos Piperoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thanasis Souliopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Lefteris Pikilidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renos Piperoglou having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Achatariιs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Souliopoulos came free, but Renos Piperoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes, Thanasis Souliopoulos made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Achatariιs FC's Renos Piperoglou tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Achatariιs FC's goalkeeper Renos Piperoglou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panos Gabriilidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanasis Souliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renos Piperoglou saved Achatariιs FC from getting behind. After 76 minutes, Thanasis Souliopoulos made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Achatariιs FC's Renos Piperoglou tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodosis Garpozis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Renos Piperoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Velos in the 86th minute of play forced Trikala F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Kosmatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Vallas took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinos Kosmatos. Konstantinos Kosmatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Renos Piperoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefteris Pikilidis in the 95th minute of play.
