Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 5) Vassilis Apostolidis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Xalkida's goal looked a bit too open when Iakovos Tsoumadas came free, but Marinos Stabouloglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefanos Tsouknidas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kosmoulis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aravissσs BC's zone, Stefanos Tsouknidas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Kosmoulis came out of the goal and Stefanos Tsouknidas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Aravissσs BC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Chatziantoniou Georgakopoulos hit a great ball. Kostas Kosmoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Apostolidis in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Chatziantoniou Georgakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Kostas Kapelis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kostas Kosmoulis threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kostas Kapelis this time. Themos Papatsakalos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marinos Stabouloglou. Marinos Stabouloglou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kostas Kosmoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Apostolidis in the 32nd minute of play. Kostas Kosmoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefanos Tsouknidas in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Xalkida's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Papatsakalos came free, but Marinos Stabouloglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Nasos Bezos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marinos Stabouloglou skillfully saved the ball. Kostas Kapelis, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Xalkida players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aravissσs BC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iakovos Tsoumadas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vassilis Apostolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Kosmoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Tsouknidas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Xalkida's goalkeeper Marinos Stabouloglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Themos Papatsakalos. After 58 minutes, Iason Kapsis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xalkida and the Aravissσs BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Iason Kapsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Themos Papatsakalos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. During the 59th minute of the match Iason Kapsis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iason Kapsis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Xalkida getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Iason Kapsis hit a great ball. If Iakovos Tsoumadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Themos Papatsakalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marinos Stabouloglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th match minute, Aravissσs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Vlastarakis to maneuver through the defense. Vassilis Apostolidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xalkida's Marinos Stabouloglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iakovos Tsoumadas in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Xalkida getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Stefanos Tsouknidas hit a great ball. Marinos Stabouloglou didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Themos Papatsakalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Marinos Stabouloglou made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iakovos Tsoumadas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marinos Stabouloglou saved Xalkida from getting behind. The supporters of Xalkida booed when Aravissσs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimilios Tsigaridas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vassilis Apostolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefanos Tsouknidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
