Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iraklis Baxevanis kicked off to start the match. Thanasis Souliopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Panos Gabriilidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikala F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Gabriilidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 6th minute of play forced Dhιlka's goalkeeper Demis Myroforidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes, Trikala F.C.'s Christos Kalakos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demis Myroforidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trikala F.C. reached it. 11 minutes into the match, Trikala F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iraklis Baxevanis came free, but Konstantinos Kosmatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trikala F.C.'s Theodosis Garpozis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Thanasis Souliopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimosthenis Dilberis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Trikala F.C.'s Konstantinos Kosmatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Tsinaris in the 25th minute of play. Thanasis Souliopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Demis Myroforidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantinos Kosmatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iraklis Baxevanis in the 28th minute of the match. Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demis Myroforidis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Kyriakos Tsinaris came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Dhιlka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyriakos Tsinaris couldn't finish the play. If Panos Gabriilidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanasis Souliopouloss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Demis Myroforidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Giannis Perdikopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lefteris Pikilidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demis Myroforidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Thanasis Souliopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Dhιlka's goal looked a bit too open when Lefteris Pikilidis came free, but Demis Myroforidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Theodosis Garpozis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trikala F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dhιlka the free kick. Dhιlka's Demis Myroforidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Dhιlka from getting a goal against them. Thanasis Souliopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Demis Myroforidis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Panos Gabriilidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trikala F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Gabriilidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demis Myroforidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimosthenis Dilberis was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Dhιlka's Dimosthenis Dilberis got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Thanasis Souliopoulos sped through Dhιlka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demis Myroforidis. Demis Myroforidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Souliopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trikala F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Kosmatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Dhιlka's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Souliopoulos came free, but Demis Myroforidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demis Myroforidis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Alekos Koliopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lefteris Pikilidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demis Myroforidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Gabriilidis in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Panos Gabriilidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Myroforidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Gabriilidis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Demis Myroforidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trikala F.C.. After having played for 92 minutes, Panos Gabriilidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikala F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Gabriilidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanasis Souliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trikala F.C. fully deserved thier win.
