The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, KoPiDia's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Sapounopoulos came free, but Vaggelis Solakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Paris Kasidokostas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Solakis. KoPiDia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paris Kasidokostas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vaggelis Solakis made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Paris Kasidokostas sent off a good shot on target. Vaggelis Solakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paris Kasidokostas in the 35th minute. Paris Kasidokostas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vaggelis Solakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziioannou Vartelatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chatziioannou Vartelatos made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Papadakis in the 54th minute of play forced Anagennisi Karditsas's goalkeeper Giorgos Kornelakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolos Papadakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Apostolos Papadakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giorgos Kornelakis. That made the score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Chatziioannou Vartelatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vaggelis Solakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Giorgos Kornelakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Paris Kasidokostas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Anagennisi Karditsas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Kasidokostas couldn't finish the play. Anagennisi Karditsas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KoPiDia for a fine match.
