Christos Kalamaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Solakis having to make a save. If Notis Lebesis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Andreas Sakalis tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Dhipotamiα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Koutsovassilis to maneuver through the defense. Stergios Paraschos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggelos Sfiggopoulos in the 48th minute of play forced Dhipotamiα's goalkeeper Louis Bechrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The tension between the TOPMUG Niki Volou and the Dhipotamiα players grew even worse after the yellow card.
