Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lakis Rakkas got the match started through his kick off. Lakis Rakkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pipis Asimakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anνlion's protests and gave Pipis Asimakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Pipis Asimakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Charis Kebakopoulos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anνlion's Kostas Kaltsidis didn't even have to move. After 8 played minutes Anνlion got a freekick which was hit by Pipis Asimakoglou. Kostas Kaltsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Rakkas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lakis Rakkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Lakis Rakkas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lion of Serres 1964 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nikolas Letsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Anatolakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Aggelos Leontokardos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chatziantoniou Apostolou fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Lakis Rakkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aggelos Leontokardos came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Lion of Serres 1964 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Leontokardos couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionysis Anatolakis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Anνlion's zone, Lakis Rakkas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Kaltsidis came out of the goal and Lakis Rakkas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Aggelos Leontokardos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Dionysis Anatolakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anνlion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lion of Serres 1964 the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Anνlion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionysis Anatolakis to maneuver through the defense. Aggelos Leontokardos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kaltsidis having to interfere. Konstantinos Bakakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Anνlion's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Apostolou came free, but Kostas Kaltsidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aggelos Leontokardos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Leontokardos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kaltsidis having to interfere. Konstantinos Bakakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lion of Serres 1964 booed when Anνlion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Karathanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lion of Serres 1964's Charis Kebakopoulos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Apostolis Bouratsis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kostas Kaltsidis was a little too slow when Konstantinos Bakakos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-2. The Anνlion fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lion of Serres 1964 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
