Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Themistoklis Alevizos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christos Solakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Thodoris Borbokis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOPMUG Niki Volou and the PANTHRAX players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis in the 25th minute of play forced TOPMUG Niki Volou's goalkeeper Christos Solakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the PANTHRAX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes Aggelos Sfiggopoulos rounded PANTHRAX's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Nikos Labriakos's late challenge caught a TOPMUG Niki Volou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Labriakos helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes PANTHRAX got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Labriakos. After 48 played minutes PANTHRAX got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Tsiamakis. After 48 played minutes, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Andreas Sakalis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giorgos Asimidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TOPMUG Niki Volou reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aggelos Sfiggopoulos made a kick off. Thodoris Borbokis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Aggelos Sfiggopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Giorgos Asimidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, PANTHRAX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes of play, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Stergios Paraschos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Asimidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Christos Solakis got control of the ball when Trifon Tsiamakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stergios Paraschos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Solakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as PANTHRAX's Dimosthenis Mitrovassilis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christos Solakis. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Aggelos Sfiggopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, PANTHRAX's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Sfiggopoulos came free, but Giorgos Asimidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that TOPMUG Niki Volou were the better team. TOPMUG Niki Volou's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
