Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chatziioannou Vartelatos started the match with the kick off. Giorgos Kornelakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Michaloliakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Káto Pedhiná FC's Alexandros Skatzos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Kornelakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Káto Pedhiná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziioannou Vartelatos came free, but Giorgos Sachinidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Michaloliakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Giorgos Kornelakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Kasidokostas got free with Giorgos Sachinidis in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Káto Pedhiná FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Grigoris Robos hit a great ball. Giorgos Kornelakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandros Skatzos's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Giorgos Kornelakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Michaloliakos in the 16th minute of play. Anagennisi Karditsas's Giorgos Kornelakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Michaloliakos in the 18th minute of play. Giorgos Michaloliakos took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Kornelakis. Giorgos Kornelakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Giorgos Sachinidis was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Chatziioannou Vartelatos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chatziioannou Vartelatos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Giorgos Kornelakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Michaloliakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Giorgos Michaloliakos sped through Anagennisi Karditsas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giorgos Kornelakis. Káto Pedhiná FC's Giorgos Sachinidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Káto Pedhiná FC from getting a goal against them. When Káto Pedhiná FC's Alexandros Skatzos in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anagennisi Karditsas's goalie prevented a goal. Anagennisi Karditsas's Giorgos Kornelakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Michaloliakos in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Alexandros Skatzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kornelakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Anagennisi Karditsas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Iordanis Sapounopoulos hit a great ball. Giorgos Kornelakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Skatzos in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Anagennisi Karditsas's zone, Giorgos Michaloliakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kornelakis came out of the goal and Giorgos Michaloliakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexandros Skatzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Anagennisi Karditsas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Káto Pedhiná FC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giorgos Michaloliakos to strike the kick off in the second half. Paris Kasidokostas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgos Michaloliakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kornelakis having to interfere. When Giorgos Michaloliakos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Káto Pedhiná FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Michaloliakos couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prokopis Poulikakos during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Prokopis Poulikakos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Káto Pedhiná FC's zone, Sotiris Spanatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Sachinidis came out of the goal and Sotiris Spanatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexandros Skatzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandros Skatzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kornelakis having to interfere. The supporters of Káto Pedhiná FC booed when Anagennisi Karditsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamantios Leontiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Alexandros Skatzos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anagennisi Karditsas's Giorgos Kornelakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Michaloliakos in the 82nd minute of play forced Anagennisi Karditsas's goalkeeper Giorgos Kornelakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chatziioannou Vartelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Káto Pedhiná FC booed when Anagennisi Karditsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamantios Leontiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Michaloliakos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Giorgos Kornelakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Káto Pedhiná FC. Giorgos Michaloliakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
