The Covid FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veniamin Konstantaras should have stopped the shot. If Giorgos Michaloliakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Covid FC's Veniamin Konstantaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Stelakis in the 12th minute of play. The tension between the Káto Pedhiná FC and the Covid FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Alexandros Skatzos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Veniamin Konstantaras. Covid FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Skatzos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Káto Pedhiná FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee ignored Káto Pedhiná FC's protests and gave Marios Stelakis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Káto Pedhiná FC's Marios Stelakis got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Thomakoglou in the 69th minute of play forced Káto Pedhiná FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Sachinidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Káto Pedhiná FC booed when Covid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Nestoroulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Káto Pedhiná FC's Argyris Vamvakoulas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Covid FC. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Eugenios Vourousis put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Veniamin Konstantaras, was totally fooled by Káto Pedhiná FC's Argyris Vamvakoulas, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Veniamin Konstantaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Michaloliakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Giorgos Sachinidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iakovos Thomakis in the 80th minute of the match. If Alexandros Skatzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Covid FC's Isidoros Kagiouzis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eustratios Violidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veniamin Konstantaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Covid FC's goalkeeper Veniamin Konstantaras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandros Skatzos. Alexandros Skatzos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Veniamin Konstantaras made a huge save. 98 minutes into the match, Covid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Michaloliakos came free, but Veniamin Konstantaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Covid FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Káto Pedhiná FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Káto Pedhiná FC.
