With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aggelos Sfiggopoulos in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giorgos Kornelakis saved Anagennisi Karditsas from getting behind. Chatziioannou Vartelatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Solakis having to interfere. Aggelos Sfiggopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Karagounis's late challenge caught a TOPMUG Niki Volou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aggelos Sfiggopoulos made a kick off. In the 66thth minute of the game Chatziioannou Vartelatos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOPMUG Niki Volou's Christos Solakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, TOPMUG Niki Volou's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziioannou Vartelatos came free, but Christos Solakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chatziioannou Vartelatos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Anagennisi Karditsas fans jumped to their feet.
