After 4 played minutes Kassαnoi BC got a freekick which was hit by Fragiskos Apostolopoulos. Veniamin Chalkias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anestis Kafes having to make a save. Isidoros Bithas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthimos Peppas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Anestis Kafes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veniamin Chalkias in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Kassαnoi BC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Miltos Adamatos hit a great ball. If Simos Pavlakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veniamin Chalkias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anestis Kafes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Filippos Vaitsis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anestis Kafes skillfully saved the ball. Kassαnoi BC's Anestis Kafes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Kassαnoi BC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Theodosis Sourounis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kassαnoi BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodosis Sourounis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthimos Peppas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute of the match, Michalis Paltoudakis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anestis Kafes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Veniamin Chalkias made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Miltos Adamatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anestis Kafes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simos Pavlakakis's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Anestis Kafes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veniamin Chalkias went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Veniamin Chalkias scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anestis Kafes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anestis Kafes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Pavlakakis in the 78th minute of the match. Isidoros Bithas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Kassαnoi BC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in AGE OF WAR's zone, Isidoros Bithas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthimos Peppas came out of the goal and Isidoros Bithas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Bithas in the 86th minute of play forced AGE OF WAR's goalkeeper Anthimos Peppas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anestis Kafes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simos Pavlakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, AGE OF WAR's goalkeeper Anthimos Peppas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theodosis Sourounis. After 91 played minutes AGE OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Xinos. Isidoros Bithas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 96thth minute of the game Veniamin Chalkias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kassαnoi BC's Anestis Kafes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
