After a rather tough play, Kassαnoi BC's Theofanis Kesaris got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Koltsidas in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anestis Kafes saved Kassαnoi BC from getting behind. Theodosis Sourounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Isidoros Bithas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AEK ένωση F.C.'s Themis Tsivilikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Themis Tsivilikas made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Theodosis Sourounis sent off a good shot on target. Kostas Koltsidas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Anestis Kafes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Isidoros Bithas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Tsivilikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kostas Koltsidas made a kick off. The supporters of AEK ένωση F.C. booed when Kassαnoi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Theodosis Sourounis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AEK ένωση F.C.'s Themis Tsivilikas. Themis Tsivilikas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Fotis Tsobanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Schinas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Kassαnoi BC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
