Alkinoos Zouros charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alkinoos Zouros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Alkinoos Zouros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Mistriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thrasivoulos Georgiou having to interfere. Christos Iatrakis charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Iatrakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Karteros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Christos Iatrakis. Fragiskos Manatakis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Nikos Tzanetakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Karteros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Bezos to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Panagiotis Giantzis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Karteros F.C.'s Vaggelis Nifitsas didn't even have to move. In the 19th match minute, Ermis Kiveriou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimosthenis Telakos to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Christos Iatrakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thrasivoulos Georgiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thrasivoulos Georgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Iatrakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Karteros F.C.'s Vaggelis Nifitsas got control of the ball when Ignatios Talitsikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikos Tzanetakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignatios Talitsikas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaggelis Nifitsas having to make a save. Thrasivoulos Georgiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Ermis Kiveriou players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karteros F.C. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Tzanetakos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignatios Talitsikas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Nifitsas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Vaggelis Nifitsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatios Talitsikas in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karteros F.C.'s goalkeeper Vaggelis Nifitsas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Kleon Plousis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karteros F.C. and the Ermis Kiveriou players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karteros F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Christos Iatrakis hit a great ball. Dimosthenis Telakos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Louis Mistriotis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ermis Kiveriou's Thrasivoulos Georgiou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 played minutes Karteros F.C.'s Christos Iatrakis stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Thrasivoulos Georgiou stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Ermis Kiveriou of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Ermis Kiveriou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Tzanetakos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Karteros F.C.'s Kostas Nikolaidis tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Louis Mistriotis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thrasivoulos Georgiou was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thrasivoulos Georgiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christos Iatrakis in the 74th minute. Christos Iatrakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thrasivoulos Georgiou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Louis Mistriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thrasivoulos Georgiou having to interfere. Christos Iatrakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Christos Iatrakis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ermis Kiveriou's Thrasivoulos Georgiou. Thrasivoulos Georgiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
