Thrasivoulos Georgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofoklis Ioannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thrasivoulos Georgiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Ioannou in the 11th minute of the match. Gerasimos Theriaklis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of LinkinPark booed when Ermis Kiveriou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fragiskos Manatakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Ioannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Thrasivoulos Georgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LinkinPark's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikos Tzanetakos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ignatios Talitsikas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ermis Kiveriou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nikos Tzanetakos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sotiris Geronimidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikos Tzanetakos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Ioannou in the 61st minute of play forced Ermis Kiveriou's goalkeeper Thrasivoulos Georgiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Ignatios Talitsikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofoklis Ioannou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sofoklis Ioannou managed to get in a good position for a shot. LinkinPark's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofoklis Ioannou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thrasivoulos Georgiou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thrasivoulos Georgiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerasimos Theriaklis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Nikos Tzanetakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermis Kiveriou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Tzanetakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Argyris Zebetoglou came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the LinkinPark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Zebetoglou couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Sofoklis Ioannou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thrasivoulos Georgiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Ermis Kiveriou supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ermis Kiveriou would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
