Anthimos Peppas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kleanthis Zolotas during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Kleanthis Zolotas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Achilleas Pirovolidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthimos Peppas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Veniamin Chalkias fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AGE OF WAR's protests and gave Veniamin Chalkias a yellow card for diving instead. Simos Pavlakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Dimitroulis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simos Pavlakakis got free with Christoforos Dimitroulis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's Christoforos Dimitroulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veniamin Chalkias in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 23rd minute of play forced AGE OF WAR's goalkeeper Anthimos Peppas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 24th minute of the match Kleanthis Zolotas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kleanthis Zolotas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to AGE OF WAR getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kleanthis Zolotas hit a great ball. Anthimos Peppas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Kostoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthimos Peppas saved AGE OF WAR from getting behind. Anthimos Peppas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alketas Chronidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simos Pavlakakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgos Kostoulis took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthimos Peppas. Anthimos Peppas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Achilleas Pirovolidis scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthimos Peppas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Achilleas Pirovolidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Achilleas Pirovolidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthimos Peppas having to interfere. With a little luck, AGE OF WAR's Anthimos Peppas got control of the ball when Achilleas Pirovolidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, AGE OF WAR's Veniamin Chalkias got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, AGE OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kostoulis came free, but Anthimos Peppas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, AGE OF WAR's goalkeeper Anthimos Peppas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achilleas Pirovolidis. The supporters of ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS booed when AGE OF WAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Paltoudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthimos Peppas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dionysis Nikas. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
