Su Rong Cheng hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Karteros F.C.'s Kostas Nikolaidis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DJ GP. If Christos Iatrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Mistriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Barniszke having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Kleon Plousis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karteros F.C. and the DJ GP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Karteros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kleon Plousis. If Louis Mistriotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esteban Igual came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the DJ GP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Igual couldn't finish the play. After 29 minutes, Esteban Igual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJ GP and the Karteros F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteban Igual kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes DJ GP got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Igual. If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, DJ GP's Zinon Loubakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Nifitsas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrzej Barniszke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Mistriotis went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Mistriotis to strike the kick off in the second half. Christos Iatrakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vaggelis Nifitsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karteros F.C.'s Vaggelis Nifitsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Igual in the 56th minute of play. When Louis Mistriotis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Karteros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. DJ GP's Petros Selionis got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Igual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Nifitsas having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Petros Selionis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DJ GP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Selionis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaggelis Nifitsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Igual in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the DJ GP players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
