Andrzej Barniszke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Sourlis in the 10th minute of play. Zhuo De Shu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zhuo De Shu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DJ GP! If Nontas Preftokis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nontas Preftokis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andrzej Barniszke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Esteban Igual fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJ GP's protests and gave Esteban Igual a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DJ GP getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Esteban Igual hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Esteban Igual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DJ GP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Igual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Selionis in the 41st minute of play forced Che Guevara's goalkeeper Nasos Neopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Petros Selionis came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the DJ GP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Selionis couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Che Guevara's goalkeeper Nasos Neopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stratos Sourlis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Che Guevara's Nasos Neopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Igual in the 51st minute of play. When Stratos Sourlis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Che Guevara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stratos Sourlis couldn't finish the play. Esteban Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nasos Neopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Che Guevara's zone, Esteban Igual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasos Neopoulos came out of the goal and Esteban Igual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nasos Neopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Igual in the 63rd minute of play. Andrzej Barniszke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Sourlis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to DJ GP getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Esteban Igual hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DJ GP's zone, Nontas Preftokis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrzej Barniszke came out of the goal and Nontas Preftokis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nasos Neopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Zinon Loubakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nasos Neopoulos. Che Guevara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zinon Loubakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nontas Preftokis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Petros Selionis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DJ GP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Selionis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nasos Neopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Igual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Igual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nasos Neopoulos having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DJ GP had played much better football throughout.
